FIFI's Flight to Oshkosh: Behind the Scenes

Post by Pegasusbelgar »

One lucky chap, 29 years old and flies FIFI. keep an eye around 5m 25sec when 4 x P-51 Mustangs join them in formation, sure make my cheeks tingle.
September 4, 2011 - David Oliver, 29, takes us behind the scenes as he and other crew members fly the world's only airworthy B-29, "FIFI," to Oshkosh for AirVenture 2011. Take a quick tour of the plane, learn how it flies, and watch four P-51s escort the bomber to OSH.

Great video. It's wonderful to see Fi Fi fly again.

What burns me is they just had to move the B-29/B-24 squadron from here in Midland to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
