Post Testing Report.

Offline: 91.33 Max 80
91.47 Max 60

Here the kicker:

Online: 91.33 Max 40 with jumps from 80 to 20

91.47 max 60 with limited jumps in lite or heavy areas.

Noticed less stutters aswell.

This is just an hour an half test but I like what I see. :wink:

XP Athlon 3800
Nividea 6600
1.5 gig DDR 400 PC 3200
Soundblaster Live 5.1 (Old Drivers)

3 hour ingame and stable FPS with next to nothing for stutters. Flyin south atm some of the North pilots are complaining about stutter.

Tried Windows Vista Beta out today, 9 GB plus in size, looks great, nice features but bloody slow! Took me around 2 hours to install too...via DVD.

91.47 looks good so far tried with water reflections off got around 70-85 went in and turned water reflections and normal maps, and grass shaders back on 65-85 with no stutters, so these look better than the 91.31 and on par with where 84.21 was. I am using the new UI in the driver, but I think I liked the classic version better.

Main4ce, Vista is sounding cool but folks is wondering why most people would upgrade, cause it requires a 3d card for AERO, they canned the new file system. It will incorparate the new DRM schemes, and such stuff. I'm really beginning to wonder if it's going to be another windows ME boondogle or not

hmm did some testing in game, when I posted earlier, But when I spawned in with guy for a run I only had 7-15, it was wierd, reintsalled 84.21 after dc3 pro clean and returned to 70-100. I will investigate more 2morrow

Ya got lower offline with them too but online for most of tonight (6-8 hrs game play) I had much higher FPS and only mild stutters form Metz to Antwerp.

OK did fresh clean and reload of drivers, and all looks good, Antwerp was a little stuttery but otherwise fps = or above 84.21

Well all the rats are saying that the new stutters are not from pagefiling or RAMusage/Memory leak so if the drivers are able to render something differently it sounds good.

If I stay on the FPS and lack of stutter (Occasional Update Spike) I might put off my upgrade for abit.
