I stumbled over this earlier this morning while seeing what was the lastest on 1.35. Seeing your name mentioned by Xoom, congratulations. Now lets get the bombers/RDP some love, medium bombers, clone bombers for larger formations, better squad management tools & interaction between escort fighters.
Last week we had asked for some volunteers to help us move things forward and we got an AWESOME response! With that said, we'll be creating a new wing dedicated to developing and improving community based tools. Things that are really important but have been a bit neglected due to priorities shifting.
We have asked "SNIPER62" to step up and take charge of this team. He has been a fantastic community contributor for many years now and we know he'll do us all proud. Please welcome him aboard!
We're still working on the fine details of a project plan, but some priorities initially look like this:
Re-establish the WWII Online wiki.
Bring back the World@War Gazette / Paper.
Improving stats reporting on various services.
And more being discussed.
Damned proud of you Sniper. You've done yourself proud in pretty much everything you do. I still remember our very first conversation about Strategic Bombing when you were only 13 years old. You have stood up every time you were asked both in real life and in game. It's a privilege to have you as a friend and squad mate.
I also remember the Knife incident. Guess we made the right call when we decided not to cut his balls off Reddog!!!
Seriously, if you need anything and I can help just let me know. I missed the post about the tools. I'll be glad to do whatever I can to help you.
