AVerMedia - recording gameplay

Post by Pegasusbelgar »

Snipples or anyone else for that matter you might be interested in this gadget. Friend of mine uses one and loves it, the box has its own CPU and connect via USB you record the gameplay through the box without any loss of frame-rate plus it will record straight up to 1080p ready for you to upload to Youtube. An example was he recorded a movie (Firefall beta) at 40mbps giving him a 27 minute video at 7GB which is far superior Fraps or Bandicam can push out. So if you do alow of gameplay videos its something worth looking into.

Unfortunately for guys like me who use 2560x1600 or 1920x1200 it is not supported, only up to 1920x1080 but technology is improving all the time.
