World of Tanks Beta

I have been playing this nice little beta arcade game for about a month now, it is fun and very very addictive and something I can enjoy while I wait till the weekends to fly with you guys.
The graphics are very nice but be aware it is in beta stage, final release will have a historical campaign mode and US, British, French, Italian and Japanese tank in future. New patch is due in a week or so with alot of new changes so dont feel disappointed if you expected more at this point as their is alot you can explore while you wait.

There is a WW2Online channel you can join called "WWIIOL" case sensative.

I've been playing the last few days, its good fun!

Game name Scott617 but I think the servers may be tide to the courty you are in, Belgar?

The european beta servers are based in germany at the moment, so like you scott you should get some decent ping, the rest of the world apart from Russia connect to the same servers as us currently, Russian testers have their own servers at the moment and are testing the new build which we should get very soon. My ping is around 60-80, friends in the states get anything from 150-200+. There is talk of localized servers coming in future but dont know how that works if you got friends in the states and you want to play with them.
The clan war campaigns sounds really interesting with a Total War Medieval sector capture system.

My game name is: Pegasusbelgar and you can find me in the WWIIOL channel (case sensative), they do have a TS3 server but dont know the details as of yet.

game name is skol1988 . i was getting with full graphics full screen pushin it to max 200-270 ping depending on match. gonna try in lil bit to see if change with graphics set lower.

UPDATE TO LAST POST* no difference with graphics really, reduced ping like 10 at most still up in mid 200 area. so back to the sweet lookin graphics

What Channel do you speak of? the 617 TS3 Server?

Well we did use the Allied TS channel for our communication. But in the game of WoT there are text channels you can join. In the bottom left, click on the channel tab, then in the search window type WWIIOL and you will find other WW2Online players there.
