Rudder wobble
WW2online has a very bad tendency to wobble with rudder applied, is there a way for which i can tweak in the controller tab in game to minimise this as flying fighters, not so much for the bombers I have a real hard job in keeping a steady aim without wobbling all over the place, i've lost easy chances of bringing down axis planes because of this.
What direction should i move the slider box to eliminate/minimise this annoying movement.

Re: Rudder wobble
Do you mean the aircraft is wobbling when you apply rudder or is it when you let go it keeps wobbling?
I suggest you try moving the deadzone in a little, drag the left green rectangle in toward the the middle this will make the joystick or pedals less responsive when you apply very small amounts of input. If you find this limiting, I suggest you increase the low end sensitivity curve by dragging the red box up and left.

Re: Rudder wobble
Actually thinking about your post you seem to be talking about the WTFlop, a violent deviation that is a fault in the Wwiiol aerodynamic engine that was 'fixed' in 1.29.

Re: Rudder wobble
I did find something about this "WTFlop" you mentioned and CRS said it was something to do within their code or something to that effect.
Yes pretty much anything i do in a fighter (not in stall speed), gentle turns, high or low yoyos, any basic moves to get on a enemy six results of me wobbling left to right out of a turn or even making small fine adjustments and thus throws my aim completely off. Like yesterday I dived on a 109G6 from 8k, he was about 1.5k below me and getting up close i only manage a few hits, he lived for another day. very frustrating.
I will try your tips thank you and see how i get on tonight.

Re: Rudder wobble
You can set your rudder peddles or what ever you are using for your rudder to trim rather than Yaw, I have it setup that way for the Hawk! Or move the red dot on the control axis to the right, given you a long curve rather than the default setting where the in put is constant.

Re: Rudder wobble
Main do you think the rudder trim is effective enough to be used as your principle yaw? I might rebind my twist to yaw trim if that's the case.

Thanks Deffield and Main, worked like a charm, was able to get 2 109 kills and a hit on a 190 in a spit 5 lastnight.

Any time. Could you tell us exactly what you did, I have a similar problem but only in the Bell and I'd like to try the same steps as you.

Re: Rudder wobble
I did what Main mentioned above in his screenshot, I pretty much moved all rudder axis (three of them) to the furthest bottom right hand corner it could go. This change has helped me keep the plane most particular the P38F and P40 much more stable when flying and when aiming.
Dont know if this P38 file someone posted on the ww2online forums might come in handy. http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/sh ... p?t=277682

Re: Rudder wobble
Excellent, if it works with the P38 it should help with the other twin engined aircraft. The rudder 'fix' only made the flop worse for them.
