Know anyone who will resub if RDP gets its teeth back?

Post by Frantish »

I know one who was really pissed at the demise of RDP, may come back if RDP does.
And I have one other very interested to do this sort of mission.

Do you?

Conversely, if there is no real improvement to RDP in next few weeks and in 1.31, will you un-sub?
I very likely will. Tired of arguing, explaining, wasting my time shouting at a brick Doc.

1.30 will be out tomorrow, and this has to be our standing ground.

THIS IS OUR LAST CHANCE.

I just resubbed yesterday after an absense of 2 years, sorry we not got to meet in game Frantish back then. I think I must of missed something upon my return, has something gone wrong with RDP, it is totally removed from the game or is it a lot harder to knock out those factories now.
I remember when I joined that we flew with anything from 5 to 10+ bombers every night guaranteed and that was a lot of fun and there was always people who wanted to tag along with the 617 Sqdn whether in bombers or as escorts.

Could you possibly point me in the direction of whats happened with RDP, and what is happening in the release tomorrow as all i could see was inplimentation of basic training?

It only effects the resupply time now Bel, no link to RDP. So 1 db7 still does 18% dmg to a factory but only affects resupply by 1%. That and with the introduction of AWS, large raids are very hard to do now. You can barely get off the airfield with a large group before your mauled by EA

Welcome back, Pegasus!

As RD said, the R part of RDP is dead, only production/supply is still in effect, and it does little.

This resulted in massive apathy to RDP, why bother when it does nothing. There is not enough reward for the effort, and no one will defend a factory becuase again it does little.

AWS has made spotting an RDP mission the moment it takes off (plenty for interceptors to lift), lucky the grid is very large so it is not easy to find the bombers. Old EWS is pretty accurate in comparison.

There has been bug fixes done with the bombers, but still other bugs need to be fixed.

You are very lucky to have an RDP raid of 9 bombers.
Most times it is 4 bombers, no escorts.

That is why we are trying to get CRS to make RDP a viable part of the game.
