Superbowl!!!

Post by allibone »

Wow, I waited up to watch it on Sunday night, ordered some Pizza and Coca Cola and sat down to watch it. It started just after 11PM over here and ended about 3:20am I think.

What a game! I actually know the Giants goal kicker Lawrence Tynes, he was born in Scotland (Greenock) and he used to play in my Football team (Soccer Team for you Yanks)in Campbeltown (Longrow Boys Club) I played up front (Forward/Striker) and he played on the left wing, he was a pretty good player, though not as good as me, naturally. So I was cheering for the Giants.

I was out of my seat on the final drive, especially the pass to Tyree where Manning was nearly sacked, that was simply amazing, and when they scored the touchdown I was roaring again, don't think my neighbours woulda been too impressed considering it was 3am lol.

Anyway... GO GIANTS!

When my alarm went off 4 hours later @ 7:30am, I had no idea where I was, what I was supposed to do, or why that litle phone was making such a noise, so I turned it off and woke again @ 8:10am and had a mad dash to get to work for 9am Monday morning!

hehe

You might be the only European who understands the game. I went to the Amsterdam Admirals v. Glasgow Claymores game in Amsterdam back in 2003 with some Dutch friends and they didn't have a clue.

Funny, you had pizza and coke there. We had brauts and beer here. :)

me and the wife woke up just in time to watch the 4th quarter. that was awsome. with about 2mins left in the game i looked over and said "man wouldnt it suck if NY won? but it would be even worse if they won with 30 seconds left on the clock"... well what happened, with 35 secs on the clock they score lol

You a patriots fan Snippet?

The Giants were the deserved winners imho, their defence was awesome. To sack Brady 5 times in the one game is something else!

Best Superbowl in many years. New York earned that victory. That and they earned me $100.00. Woot!
