The Boss has returned

Post by Kizmet »

After being shot down near Dusseldorf, rescued by special forces from captivity in the Zees, life biting him in the ass, Charlie3 has returned to the game.

Charlie and I had a dream about this squad when we started it. You guys have made it more than either one of us could have ever thought it would be.

I can't tell you how glad I am to see him back in game. He was a hard ass when I was a young punk recruit in the Alamo Scouts in January of 2003. Bastard actually made me learn how to place 4 satchel charges on a vehicle spawn in one pass, without stopping, and without getting killed, before I became a full fledged commando.

Ooh Rah Comand Sgt Major.

Welcome back.

Very nice... Glad you are back charlie, and it was cool talking to you ingame yesterday - sorry I had to go... I got this new thing in my livingroom and it makes a lot of noice - and a hell of a smell.

Ah thanks yall!

Great to be back.

The first run I made was a little embarassing because I hit O instead of D to open the bombay doors and didn't get any lead out but I made it over the factory and RTB'd after evading a 110.

Made three other sorties and got six in the box each time.

Was really suprised that my old computer still had it in her. Later in the night I tried a CAS run but that was a pipe dream... froze and crashed. I'm hoping to buy a new computer for Christmas.

Stayed up until like 1am playing. Met up with Bundyrum and killed a few gerries on the ground and then when he went to some HC meeting so I grabbed a sniper rifle and went to maastrict and had some fun... got up to grab a diet Coke and came back dead... lol

WoW is for pansies... and I missed the comraderie... and Johnny Cash!

I hooked up with charlie yesterday, and it was like a flash back to the games early days. Running around recapping CPs in Twerp... Codguy and Boot was there also. Great fun Charlie! Thanks.

XFX has agreed to replace my card. I had support tickets in with ASUS and XFX. The funny thing is they both agreed that my PSU problems could have been a bad GPU from the start.

Not sure of the techincal side of it but out side of the power surges I was getting this could have explained the 3 PSU's I have been through in the last couple months.
