Some of the guys go a bit overboard, but who am I to cast stones as I am building one. The problem with it all is there really isn't a sim as good as wwiionline to use an F16 in. Falcon 4 sure is the best out there and you can emulate like 90 some percent of the actual switches. But in terms of gameplay its not as expansive as wwiionline. nothing is.
Here are some simpits that are more appropriate.
190s

I likes the 190. I am collecting the gauges for it. Hope to do one someday.

This one is from a master machinist. He is in England and makes formula one parts at his shop. Dave traded in his F16 project for this:

That ez mode one main4ce mentions is probably the best way to go starting out! You may avoid a whole lot of unnecessary work.
Thats all folks.

Hehe...found another one!
I like this one, shame I don't have the time (time also = money lol) for a project like this, or the room for that matter!
it make me think of what Alli was saying...image the girlfriend coming home and finding you sitting in one of these things, right in the middle of your living room! lol

Edit: found a little film to go with it!

There's no way that guy is getting any while he has that in the house.
Yeah, well, once you've been married 13 years you've got nothing to loose. Not like you can get any less
