Yeah it was a 2.5 metre croc which popped up 50 metres from the boat and swam around. Missed getting another of one sliding back into the river as we motored past.
Thats Hinchinbrook island -1.5 hours north of me. Crocs are pretty abundant. Fishing was dead - only one mudcrab for the weekend.
Lost one crabpot to a croc - It was smashed .
