just got banned from sot.com so if anybody sees plastic or barbie31 posting somewhere give em a whole hearted f off for me

there was a debate about that spike lee series on katrina (hbo) and basically there was a full page of posts... people saying those who evacuated deserved what happened in the aftermath

i called BS for multiple reasons and basically said spike lee was doing a good job documenting what happened

barbie replied that if she were a poor mother she would stick her kids in a shopping cart and walk out of town

so i quoted barbie and said while she is driving around in her new acura she should consider the fact that many of those people did not have the means to go anywhere not to mention where to go... i asked her if she would actually put her kids in a shopping car with a cat 5 storm bearing down on the city

then she tells me to stfu... she took a family in and donated lots of money to Katrina funds... and what did YOU do

so i told her about my work with the salvation army and my direct contributions and that she should not assume i did nothing and that she had no right to tell me to stfu on a forum when she had no idea who i was

so barbie said "you're sad for picking on a woman" and why wasn't i picking on any of the male posters and that i didnt do this because i couldnt hang with the men

so i replied that the fact that she was a woman had nothing to do with my thought process; that i was just disagreeing

so then plastic warns me to tone it down and basically said f the poor... that he'd piss in the beer bottle of any bum and laugh about it... about how he didnt give a crap that i worked with bums... and how barbie had done a ton of work for the poor

so i told him f him and his forum... that he had no right to insult my livlihood just because i disagreed w his wife

he then said its okay to dissent so long as i didnt offend his wife

so i said oh i get it we can say anything so long as it didnt offend a mod

then he banned me and my wife even tho tonnya had nothing to do w it

feel free to cut and paste this so others know what a jerk he is... this isnt the first time he banned for disagreeing with him or his wife

he is so two faced. he started this forum because OT was getting over modded but the second i disagree w his wife i get teh ban

Hey Charlie are you sure he banned you or did you just get pruned? Although with your post count that should not have happened. I just wanted to check before I go have fun with this over there. I'll stir up things. This got me going when I first joined. They were going to ban all the mods from PS. I was lumped into that group even though I was no longer a mod. I did not post anything to break any rules. Had a long arguement with them over it and clearly stated their double standards. I got no pity from the others as they really hate mods. A few did stand up for me though. But they have nothing to hold against you. And I will re-read all the rules, but I don't think disagreeiong with someones point is breaking the rules.

This should be fun.

i get the white forbidden page both at home and at work as does my wife

plus when i tried to reply to the thread last night, i got the you have been banned contact the admin for questions popup

i did not do anything against SOT policy.

the ONLY thing i did was imply that barbie31 made a statement that i disagreed with and why

at worst I referred to her as a rich girl by using the acura to make a point

after this happened it was I who was insulted by her and plastic multiple times and up until i said f u and ure forums i was quite civil

Charlie do you even want to get back in or no? Plastic is sticking to it and doesn't seem to be moving an inch. I do not know if he would remove the ban if you asked him to do it. He still seems pissed that you insulted Barbie. He keeps coming back to that. Respecting women and all that. But your final comment is what threw him over the edge for sure.
