New system - is it ok?

My son is looking at getting this system . Is it ok?
Intel core 2 duo 1.86 ghz cpu [can upgrade to 2.13 ]
intel p 965 motherboard
250 gig 7200 rpm harddrive
2 gig ram
256 mb pci express gf 7300 card [can upgrade to 7800 ]
usual extras.

Unless hes tring to beat a world record FPS then yes its a awesome set up...I suggest he get a awesome sound card with that aswell...

Yeah Intel has fired it's salvo with the new core 2 duo, it's getting rave reviews, just waiting to see what AMD fires back with...

Yep I smell quad cores around the corner and Bundy Bigmex is right ditch that 7300 it's the 5200 of the 7000 series. sorry I missed that

Make sure it's a 7200 rpm sata drive, not ide. Hell of a lot faster.
