Lead bomber is still not safe

Post by loft »

Despite Chiefwo's temporary insanity, I'd just like to let you know that there are still some of us over here that he trained and we always go for the lead bomber. :)
S! and hope to see you soon. ;)

Guys, with us Dambusters, it doesn't matter if they take out the lead bomber or not. The remaining ones always get their bombs on target anyways.

One way to look at it is the more 109's there are over the factories going for Easy Mode kill  the less there are on the front lines getting shot down by 4-Wing, errr uhhh I mean the less there are straffing our fellow ground pounders.

BTW, it's great seeing you guys from JG-52 posting over here. I think we are all in agreement that we have to make the game fun! 8)

True enough Barely, it makes it a challenge, without you guys getting up there with us it'd get boring pretty fast.
Here's a thought... Leave us alone, we'll get bored and go away! Simple.

S! to you guys. Been flying a lot of Fac D lately (as some of you may have noticed) ;).

Big S! to Duke2 for riding that wingless DB to the ground. You could've easily despawned and deprived me of the kill.

Understood, reddog. But in this situation, it would have been perfectly fine for Duke2 to despawn, I had flamed his left wing and it eventually came off. This was at 4-5K and he rode the plane all the way to the deck. He could have easily despawned during that long fall (to simulate bailout) which, under the current system, would've meant that I wouldn't have gotten the kill (which is fine, I'm trying to attrite bombers, not rack up kills). Hence, the big S!.

If you critically damage an opponents aircraft via causing it to catch on fire, disable its engine or removing its wing or tail you will get the kill whether the plane despawns before it hits the ground or not.

If say you shot the crap out of my plane and its falling like a brick but I havnt lost a critical component and I decide to despawn before I hit the turf then no you dont get the kill and this squad doesn't do shit like.

While not specifically in the DB's (although I TRULY appreciate the warm welcome from them) I will be escorting every time they ask. I may not be able to stop your first pass, I'm willing to bet being greedy might be hazardous to your health :)
