Remember how we got rapped yesterday ?
They were like 30+ Ea waiting for us against 14 escort.
You guys dropped, ok that's the main point but ... then we all got down or nearly.

Lack of fighter ? maybe, lack of speed ? yes.
when you guys levelled withDB7 you're so friggin fast !
WHen you turned R2 to target 80% of fighter escort including was on teh rear of the group. I think we defend you guys quiet good when you see what was our position.
But we have to look around and see how we ( escort) can get closer on you guys to be more effective !

I would like to had, that we have new recruits in the squadn and that they now love esocrting lol ! S!

Yes since it was Chiefwo Wednesday and last nite yes , your debt is paid in full. And yes we need to work on keeping our escorts glued to the bombers

Keep comin back for more nnowotny. Between us all trying, we can get the job done. If we have a nucleus, that keeps working, we can probly supply more Bombers, or fighters, if that is what we need. If we can do this, we will have a real Air War.( Just like we see on TV - of the real WWII )

escort used to meet us closer to target.

1. maybe a fighter group can go in and set off a red square and divert the defense?
2. main group meet escort and head to another factory?
point is to have enough fighters for a diversen plus escort.

we have had this discussion before, but no solution jet.
- Wide escort; high in front; high behind...
- smaller groups going different directions.
- a mix of many, and alter them each time.

As in other type of warfare; when out numbered: go guerrilla!

BUT MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO DROP BOMBS, so if we get killed after drop we still have achieved our goal.

I am quite interested in seeing how a diversionary fighter sweep would work out.

Example.

Do an RDP Raid w/escorts.

Next Raid ACTS like another bomber raid, but is ALL fighters.

Next Raid is the same.

Next Raid is Bombers again...

Just so they can never be sure if it is a bunch of bombers or not.

this would be a good thing to do, just to keep them guessing and wondering is this a bomber raid or am i guna get my arse handed to me.

last campaign the axis did it with 110s and it was pretty nasty for us, but it still was fun

Something else that may be worth trying here.

Flight of Fighters (enough to set off AWS) plays diversion while bomber flights are broken into groups of threes and sent off to targets individually and without escorts.

i like last idea, but fighter sweep have to be slow i mean to light aws "slowly"

or use frankfurt more, i mean like that map there are no air brigade covering it and we can avoid a HUGE ea interception flight keeping their eyes up north with another red square.

I heard some good news too for next campaign keep watching at hangar guys
