Remembrance Day (also known as Poppy Day or Armistice Day) is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth countries since the end of World War I to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty. (taken from wiki)
The Great war, as it was know back then (now called ww1) officaly finished on the 11.11.1918 at 11.00hrs. (Not sure but I remeber being told while in the Army that it as 11.11 hrs, hmmmmm)
