The amount of rain fall reported is crazy (especially Virgina)....

just some rain and some wind where im at in northern Virgina...

lost power lastnight right around bed time and the laptop died soon there after and i called it a night. the power was only out for about 3 hours.

i made it out pretty well compared to some of the pictures ive saw

I'm fine, here in brooklyn. Lower manhattan is pretty messed up, flooded, etc. I'm sorta at the top of a large hill, but the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, the main car tunnel between brooklyn and manhattan, is full of the east river, and the subways are not getting back into operation for a while. We got hit by a lot of storm surge, the way it is geographically, especially lowlying areas. One of the barrier islands by long island, Fire Island, is mostly underwater.
