BGE site and forums offline... WTH?

Everything is offline.
Their is power outs in Texas, maybe that??

Playnet is doing maintenence so the website, forums, etc. are down.
You can still play if you connect through the secondary connection in the programm settings.

Aaaah! That explains it. I've tried to connect to forums and wiki all day!
That's a long downtime for any site!

Yeah, longer than even CRS thought. They said til 7 AM central time and its nearly 7 hours later and still down.

its not playnet maintenance, its the ISP maintenance...
they said the game server should still be up tho

Bah! Got home, mowed the lawn and set aside the afternoon to knock some rust off in-game.
No luck getting in-game through the connect scripts or the app itself
Guess I'll try again in an hour or so.

You mentioned that you were going to play on Thursday , then CRS announces maintenance the next day , then Thursday arrives and BOOM NADA Nothing.
OMG Codguy's return killed the game.
Boy PS will have fun with this one!!!!

All,
I'm reaching out to as many player as I have e-mail addresses for in the
hopes that all of you can pass the word regarding what's going on at CRS.
This morning CRS's ISP provider lost power and their backup emergency
generators failed to start. This has resulted in a loss of data on some of
CRS's key servers and damage to some routers. Killer and Ramp have spent
the entire day trying to assess the damage and restore the system. Priority
of restoration is:
Assess damage
Fix the damage
Restore the game server and associate support (i.e. TS)
Restore beta
Restore company e-mail.
CinC's. Prepare of the strong possibility that the campaign will have to
start all over again using the brigade deployments that were submitted.
Now, this has never happened before and could not have been foreseen.
Please e-mail as many of your fellow players as you can and get the word out
via private e-mail, Face Book and phone. Doing that will help us a lot.
At this time I have no idea when service will be restored but I'll keep
you informed as best I can.

Sorry, Guys. I neglected to update my creditcard information on all my accounts so I didn't pay all my monthly subs.
I can do one of two things............
1.) Go ahead and update all my info so you can go bomb the shit outta something.......
2.) Hold out and refuse to pay until the Rats give in to our demands of having the legendary Lancaster in game.
Ya'll let me know what you want me to do.

Dunno...logged in and couldn't remember any of my keymapper or joystick assignments, so just started mashing the keyboard repeatedly with my palm until I CTD'd...guess the server didn't like that.
Will try to catch u guys late Sun aftn or eve when I get back into town again.

Campaign server is up, but thats it. Everything else is down.
