Two ancient comic kits from my misspent youth.

Flight Leftenant Rif Raf and His Spitsfire Mk V.

With the addition of a few more fiddly bits...
Image

A little colour... (and a dashing pilot!) Two Fingers Up Jerry!
Image

A nice bit of scenery....aaand VIOLA! (as they say. something like that anyway.)
Image
Dash it all! A few pings to the wingtip already!

OberLeutnant Wiener Moldey ist der geshtunkener bad guy!
Image

LOT'S of little fiddly bits to make this thing look like a 109. (Kit was heavily based on the spitsfire.... makes me wonder if I could make a Dewo...)
Image

Mit shcars on der cheeks from Heidelberg yet!
Image

Finally! Ve ist off to jagd der Shniper62! 8)

A fun build that WILL be accompanying me to the next RatCon, if they ever have one...

If you'd like a copy of the Messaschnitzel kit, you can get it here
http://www.squadron.com/

or a decently supplied local hobby shop.

If you want a copy of Rot Eins, you pay me great flipping wodgers of cash and I build you one.
Both planes have custom markings and paint.

One other possibility, the Rats have a Con and you win one in a raffle.
That last is a bit of a longshot I know...

I thought that these 2 were the same as the other 2 you posted about in the rots eins thread. There not? So there are 4 different models? i'm confused...

or http://www.squadron.com/

There are only two model KITS.

The Spitfire was obviously the first kit since the 109 shares a number of components with it. Prop, gears, cockpit, lower fuselage...
It took a fair amount of work to make it look good.
the 109 kit has almost none of the detail of the spit.

Since a lot of the bits were the same, I had to add MORE bits to make them different.

LOT'S of bits...

The spit was much easier.

A little paint

See? It's easy!

I could, if you really want one, but it's gonna be about a year before I even have time....
I have 3 sailing ship models in for restoration, a 32 Lincoln for repair,a B-52 for an old crew dog, a 1922 Indy car from scratch and a great Lakes freighter hull for a museum...

Damn, will I ever get to do my own stuff again?
