Have him visit the site here. It'll make things much easier. I'll work with him on cleaning out any spyware/malware to begin with. Sounds like he won't have the current drivers for his equipment based on his reply about his video card.

That is definitely a driver problem. Be it mobo,graphics, or sound

i can provide a beter description then my video can. well about 2 months ago i didint have a graphic card in my pc it was already built in and even then it whouldent play then my dad gave me a flat screen monitor and the game worked like a charm
but lagged very badly then we went on vacation and my uncle gave me a nvidia Geforce fx 5200 ultra it has 128 mb on it and works very well on most games i got but when i tried to play battleground europe it did what my video shows it doesent even got to the loading screen. the screen blacks out and goes back to my windows homepage.


p.s. i dont know if it means anything but i use a dell optiplex gx 260. with the graphic card and hd moniter.

Unfortunately Gas the game won't run on the 5200 now. I know it did but the Rats upgraded the shader spec to a higher version that the 5200 can't do. You would have to probably get a newer card preferably with at least 256mb but 512mb of memory would be the best. The game is very Processor intensive also, so a good CPU and memory are also required.

The game is worth the up-grades bottom line.....

Yeah bud, shes simply no going to run with a 5200!
