Sniper,
It's the way of the "other world". AFN is not allowed to show TV in Korea except a small part of the day. If you want to watch live TV then you're either watching it in Korean, or waking up at 2:00 AM in the morning to watch it on AFN. Just wait till football season. The games start around 3:00 AM in Korea. And then only once in a while.

Hey Sniper, that sucks about AFN. I know they're carrying a fair amount of Olympic stuff as I jut got back from Sigonella and they had plenty of daytime coverage on AFN sports and AFN extra over in Europe. I had no idea they had to show AFN only at night over there!!!
So, the only one of us who is in the right side of the planet (except for Fuelpump) to actually watch the games live has to watch taped coverage at strange hours like the rest of us...go figure.
Here's a thought...your dad have an extra (or seldom-used) Cable/Satellite box down in FL? Get yourself a slingbox and have him set it up for you so you can stream US TV. Best $100 I ever spent. Have one hooked up to my DVR in the living room and can catch all my games/shows no matter where I happen to be at the time.

ya we just got down to our training area and they have the full on cable down here. and like you said they got alright coverage with the other channels, so its pretty good while im down here for watching it....but back at home we only get one AFN ch on our tv without the AFN cable box. so thats the problem, i wasnt able to sign up for the rest of the AFN chnls cuz we were gone all last month and now im gone for another 2 weeks. and its not as easy as just going to the px and getting a cable box either they gota send ppl out and install a satelite and all that crap. so idk
i was thinking about contacting NBC and seeing if they would clear my IP address so i could connect to nbcolympics. a local radio station did it so we could listen to them. so idk
and we dont have cable back home they use satelite so it might be different with the set up ur talking about. i was thinking about somthing like that maybe with tv from antenna going through the computer. how is the quality?
