If a music video doesn't have bouncing boobehs it's not a good video.

With that said, I always pay proper respects.

Yes, very cheesy. But I definately agree with the sentiments.

I didn't realise that Veteran's Day is the same as what we call Armistice Day, until recently. We only get 1 minute's silence though. It irritates the hell out of me when people forget to do the 1 minute's silence....

Edited because I'm not trying to piss anyone off here.
Every Armistice/Veterans Day I observe the silence, and get bugged by people that don't.
What you think of the video is up to you. <S!>

I enjoyed the video. It seems that, after three generations, a lot is forgotten. How do you keep the past alive, in the minds, of future Generations. -- If they are not reminded, they soon forget. Our Liberties didn't, and don't come cheap.

I have been to Hockey Games, and other Sports Games, and it just Fries my Ass, that some cannot, or will not, recite the Pledge of Aliegence. The National Athems sang, just before the Events, is absolutely Beautiful.

Amen -- Ben and Mev.

i am a veteran who served my country in Bosnia and now I actively serve disabled veterans every single day in my current capacity at work

i am certainly not one of the f tards ben refers to

the video imho ben is not cheesy because of the content... the cheesy part was the bad acting and cinematography

I was just poking fun. The message is the important part.

I think I posted this before but Logan, my daughter is 8 now and in grade 3. Last year I was on cloud 9 when she came home from school talking about the meaning of Nov 11th. They had a whole lot of of classes on the subject.

I would assume the same this year. Last week we where driving in the car home from mom and dads farm and she asked out of the blue did our family ever loose any one in a war. I explain we had on both sides and went through them all. She sat and soaked it all up.

We where also fortunate to spend some time with my Great Uncle this summer out on the West Coast. He was an RAF pilot in Sterlings. After being wounded by Flak he taught gunnery to new recruit and then joined a Ferrier Squadron based out of Canada. ie: how I became Canadian.

She asked why he didn't die in the war. And I have to say about that then I lost it.

It is a God Dam shame that we are still needing people like you Charlie, like Sniper and everyone else involved in the Military. But as has been pointed out We need to Remember and be greatful. Because whether it is my country or any other we are still going to have 8 yr olds asking these question and hopefully someday it sinks in and we can have 8 yr olds running around not worrying about relative that have lost their lives defending our way of life.

Sorry for the rant just off nights and abit tired and worked up.

Thank you for your services Charlie. You just went up a notch. Thank you. ---- No doubt it was an Ameteur, that produced the film. I bet Fuel could have done a better Job. Meabby I'm blind, but any attempt at getting the word across to the younger Generation, is benifical. I thought the acting part, had a long ways to go too. :)

I agree Mevan, the message in the film is the important part, and it's a message I agree with 100%.
And if Ben wants to call me a fuckhead, that's fine. I'd even be happy to take up arms to protect his right to have a different opinion to mine if it came down to that. <S>

My english isn't good enough to discuse this the way I want to, but I will say that there is a huge differense between politics and what soldiers do. To be precise: I do not argee with politics that invaid foreign countries! or bomb inisant civilians. But I support the soldiers, that have do go and do politicians durty woork, with my hole heart. We don't need politicians - or terrorist - that sends there people to war. If you want to fight a war - you should go there yourself. This goes to presidents and prime ministers and to muslim leaders!
