Just thought I'd hop in here real quick and say Hi to all.
Arrived Edinburgh last Friday, been on the go ever since. Visited Edinburgh, the Borders, Stirling, Central Moors, Fife and am now in Aberdeen. Heading to Inverness tomorrow, then on to the Highlands.
Saw neat model shop in Dumferline other day. It had a model of the Dambuster's Lancaster, I think by Revell. Also, I was in the Highlands west of Aberdeen today looking at a stone circle on a hilltop when a Tornado made a low-level pass over me. I must be getting rusty as I don't think I hit him with my Bofors.
Anyway, gotta keep this short. It's DAMN expensive over here. Having a great time but may have to file bankruptcy upon my return home.
Cya in a couple of weeks.

Hey cono. Glad you're having fun. Hope you take lots of pictures. Don't worry about your aim, we'll put you to work practicing when you get home.

Sorry, had to miss the museum. I went through Glasgow and saw the Glasgow Cathedral and the Necropolis, but had to move on. Too much to see and too little time and money in which to do it. Besides, I've seen a Spitfire before, even one flying.

I could but you can get that in the U.S., can't you? If not, respond back here and if I'm lucky and can check this website again before leaving, I'll get you a bottle.

hehehe, I wish my job took me all over the world. Sorry, but this is on my dime (which is worth about 6 cents over here).
I'm over 1,100 pictures now with 2 days left. Currently, I'm in Lockerbie heading to Hadrian's Wall, then back up to Edinburgh.
I think Allibone has been hoarding all the good-looking women in Scotland. I've been all over Scotland for over 2 weeks now and the best looking woman I've seen was a cute little co-ed from Belfast working in a B&B near Eilean Donan Castle for the summer. She was a cutie.

Did you get to go on the Whisky trail? And were you anywhere near Elgin?
Could do with a trip home...but it cost a fortune since the Euro, its cheaper going somewhere in the south pacific.
Waiting for the pics!
