Did you go and get banned from something? Change your internet service provider.

START
CONTROL PANNEL
NETWORK CONNECTIONS
RIGHT CLICK ON LOCAL AREA CONNECTION
CHOOSE PROPERTIES
CLICK ON INTERNET PROTOCOL
CLICK ON PROPERTIES
CLICK ON RADIO BUTTON FOR USE THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS
ENTER IP ADDRESS
ENTER SUBNET MASK
ENTER DEFAULT GATEWAY IF YOU HAVE ONE
ENTER DNS SERVER

Once you've done this you'll need to say OK and then reboot your machine. With XP you don't have to reboot, however, since you're technologically challenged, reboot it anyway just to make sure.

Now you have a new IP address.

Now my question is, why are you manually entering an ip address when almost all ISP's use DHCP which is why you normally set your ip settings to get ip address automatically.

Need more help, holler. I work for survival gear.
