For those that haven't seen the link I posted in the secure forums, and other places, I have finished the film.

A stirring tale of the heroic Dambusters and friends over the skies of enemy held Europe, doing what they do best: Giving the Axis "Love From Above".

7 mins, 50 mb.

Cheers!
I used Fraps to capture the original footage, but it had its problems (such as not being able to transmit on TS while I was filming, which made direction difficult, and also the audio quality was often pretty bad - I pretty much had to rebuild all the sound from short clips where the sound worked well, and added a few sound effects I got off the web, hopefully nobody noticed the massively chopped up sound).

I used Adobe Premiere to cut the video and audio, as well as a few plugins for the video post production, but with the compression, some of the post production was lost (for example dust and scratches on the film to give it an "aged" look didn't come out too well after compression).

I originally used Adobe After Effects for the titles, but after a few delays etc. I forgot how to use After Effects, and was under time pressure, so I just did the titles in Premiere rather than get the books out and re-learn After Effects.
