Peg told me you guys where playing this. I downloaded it a while back but haven't even looked at it in ages, So I thought I might as well update it, hope the 7.1 Gb is worth the wait

BTW, world of warplanes (from the world of tanks guys) isn't up to much, its been designed for mouse and keyboard althought JS's will work.

with the recent updates, war thunder has made a "squad" feature. although this is not a full squad system like in wwiiol it does serve a purpose, when you wanted to play with a friend or with squaddies you had to get luck to be on the same side and in the same game when you go into an arcade battle.

now you have the ability to add people to your squad and you all join the same mission and will be on the same side. i think this could lead to some fun with bombers, although its only arcade missions atm...i saw two guys flying together yesterday, they were both in bombers and flying close to each other. they made their bomb runs and then circled until their bombs were reloaded, but the TGs in war thunder carry a bigger punch then they do in wwiiol. they were kept relatively safe all while getting kills in both the air and on the ground. if we could get 3-4 guys in formation...dam that would be some nasty TG stuff to get through

i got an A20 tonight and was killing quite a few ground targets and getting a ton of points after the mission was over, i think we get rank up pretty good to get to the B17s...

oh ya, trying to dive bomb destroyers is some tough stuff!

I am tempted boss and it is that time of year when I do fly for a few months, but everytime I think about resubbing I think about the times DOC has let us down in the Air/bomber department.

OMG Sir, look up and find a good Don Henley song from the 80's called "Get Over It", it ain't about the game for the most part it's the camaraderie, or at least it is for me.

Not to defend him, but the way the engine was designed, it ain't going to do much more, I'm just hoping to get back pre 1.34 where multicrew worked , etc...

Find us a millionaire that will donate the money for a new engine and we all set.

Anyway, looks like a good ole 3GB DL from Russia today, and a new squad creation feature, only thing you need is 2500 Golden Eagles, WTF I got to pay to create a squad???
