Unfortunately for us Scott we either have to purchase it internationally or wait for it to appear digitally via Studio777 or Steam. Fspilotshop.com are the only place at the moment who are shipping internationally to other countries. Studio777 have mentioned that a European publisher is in the works.

Please note that when you buy this game and Doggie might already noticed as he already has it that you only get two planes, Spad XIII and a Fokker VII, to fly the others you need to be purchased separately, abit like buying addons for a game on Xbox live.

Just for interest....

I was surprised by the rate of climb there straight after takeoff!

Yep lots of fluff but at the same time it could get boring really fast. Dont get me wrong Im a gunna get it but you still cant beat wwiionline for the over-all experience.

When the servers open it would be a bit more interesting.

Well they patched the game yesterday and today gave us 2 more planes for free. They mentioned the web store opening Monday with additional planes available.

From the site :
The Nieuport 17 can be purchased as a flyable aircraft at a rate of $7.62 (5.45 Euro) from our web-store beginning next week. We are testing the payment system now and we want to be sure the store functions correctly and our secure credit card purchasing system works as planned.

So price for additional stuff not too outrageous yet.

Still going thru training. I'm stuck at Mission 5 where you have to disable two vehicles on the road and then kill a tank. LOL I suck as bad in ROF at dive bombing as I do in WW2OL.

Seems they have fixed multiplayer, but joining missions is still weird. If you join a mission already started you just sit at a screen looking out over the scenery.

They added a few new missions which if I ever finish training I might enjoy.

I got the keymapper worked out on the X52 for now .

Still drooling over the graphics, but it does require a stiff box to run. The game is quite adapt at multi-threading utilizing all 4 of me cores for a load of 55-65% CPU usage and with 8GB of ram it uses between 30-40 of main memory and with 98% eye candy on it uses 85% of video memory.

Still runs smooth as butta.

Here's the link from there update today
