I'm BBBBBAAaaack!!!

Another thing about the DB TG, top one this time.

You will see it mounts a a dolly and a track, so it rolls side to side. This is the same thing (or very similar) to the SB2 Helldiver had in the CAF.

WELL, the MG is mounted on a very flexible "pintle" mount, which is on the dolly.

SO, what that means is if you move the dolly to the stop's, either side, you could move the gun to fire dead six!

That dolly is just far enough to the side for the gunner to be clear of the tail for a 6 shot.

Now, to do that in game will complicate the model, so what I proposed is to have the MG point to the slide a little. That gives more 6 coverage without complicating the system.


And yes, the He-111, although a different system, can also cover the area behind the tail. I have video that I am just too lazy to post :P
