eehhhh, sure sniper...
These past 6 weeks have been fun - but very tiresome - I'm almost worn out.
She is a fine baby, but she wants to be in dads arms all the time. Maybe the three last days/nights have been better - she now sleeps longer.
Anyway, that means I have had some time to look at a new PC:
* Asus P5K Premium/WIFI-AP, P35, DDR2 Socket-775, ATX, 2xGbLAN, 2xPCI-Ex16
* Cooler Master Centurion 534, Sort, Aluminium Front (Uten Strømforsyning)
* Corsair Powersupply 620W, 120mm Vifte, 8xSATA, ATX/EPS, 2xPCI-E, 20/24pin
* Corsair TWIN2X 6400 DDR2, 4096MB CL5, Kit w/two matched CM2X2048-6400 Dimm's
* Gainward GeForce 8800GTS 640MB GDDR3, PCI-Express, "BP8800GTS-640M-TV-DD"
* Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0GHz 1333Mhz Socket LGA775, 4MB, BOXED m/vifte
* NEC DVD-brenner AD-7173 IDE Black OEM Duallayer,LabelFlash,Multirecorder(Ram)
* Samsung SpinPoint T166 500GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM
* Western Digital Raptor 150GB SATA 16MB 10000RPM
* Zalman CNPS9700LED Ultra Quiet CPU Kjøler, Socket 775/754/939/940/AM2
* Zalman Vifte 120x120mm
Any comments before I put in the order?
Oh, and don't forget I miss you guys... LOL and I'm still trying to organize a trip too next years convention.

Thor. Why the two different model Hard Drives? With SATA you can mirror or stripe two drives. You can miror two drives of the same type, so if one crashes, you have the data on the other. Simply buy a new hard drive, replace it and the remaining drive mirrors to the new drive automatically. Data Redundancy so you never loose data again.
Of course, striping makes them run faster, but if one drive crashes you loose both drives data.
Everything else looks very good. I'm quite jealous.

like reddog said. I thought I could have windows and some programs on the fast one - and the rest on the other one. That way I was hoping I could keep a clean and fast drive reserved - and the kids could mess with the other one...
... I never loss data anyway...
