I really like Duke.

He really helped me when I first started WW2Online and is one of the main reasons I wanted to join the Dambusters.

Thursday Update:

Talked with Dog about an hour ago. Duke is sitting up more often now and his spirits are improving. Much better than earlier in the week. He's eating more solid food today and seems to be doing rather well. He did receive some flowers but I had a hard time hearing Dog...I think he said Thor sent them. Anyway, he really enjoyed getting the flowers. I'm just glad to hear that he's improving each day and that his spirits are climbing.

As long as the pacemaker gets more than 20-30 FPS, I'm sure he'll do fine, once he heals up... :D

I order flowers from a US web site. Nice to know they arrived.

I just spoke to Duke at the hospital, he was pretty drugged up, and needed rest so I didn't stay on long.
But he sounded OK considering.
He wanted to thank everyone for the support, and I think he was especially happy about the flowers he got Thor!

Hmmmmm........I hope he gets better and back into things quick. It's guys like Duke that made this game so much fun when I played. No matter how hairy things got Duke always stayed calm. He is what we like to call an "unsung hero".

I have tried a couple time to get him on the phone but always sleeping. As a side note and spoke with Bable and the Rats have sent him a card aswell. Went around the officer in Ft. Worth and they all signed.

Thought that was rather nice of the Rats.
