trevor8 in the army? what?
UPDATE: Aug 16,2006
I went to meps but was denied due to 2 failed hearing test. I have to go back to an audiologist and if they do not give me a waver I will be deemed unfit to serve in the U.S. Army. Kinda pisses me off but I knew about my hearing problem so I had back up plans. I am going to be putting in my application to ULL (University of Louisiana Lafayette) and Louisiana Tech. So fellas looks like im still around. I hope ben diddnt find my sheep... I hope to reactivate my account in the comming months.

Two things.
Don't believe a word the recruiters say, they're paid to lie.
Never, and I say Never, volunteer for anything.
When you get done with your basic training, keep your head down, and react immediately when you are given an order in the field. Your NCO's will save your life.

Sry m8, but I can't understand why anyone would want to join the Army or any other military service for that matter at a time like this.
We are all being used and lied to by our goverments (some more than others) I wouldn’t even think about fighting any wars for these assholes, got enough prob's of my own.
Don't do it Trevor....there's more to life bud, than killing women and children in the name of world sercurity.
Abraham Licon once said " Someone who is prepare to give up their freedom for sercurity, desires neither"

Wow, I just got a flashback to the late 60's and early 70's. Like that's all the military is doing is killing women and children. Sad to see this thought process again. Are we forgetting the World Trade Center already. Yepper, those two buildings were chock full of military targets, no civilians at all.

Kizmet m8, do misunderstand me, I was a Soldier. I have a lot of respect for those who are perpared to stand up and be counted and the things that are expected of them!
I did my time and enjoyed it a lot, seen places, I would have never otherwise seen and meet people and friends I would have never ever know!
Some of the best times of my life
But when I see the way our governments are doing their daily business, I think they are the ones who should be on the front line, I wonder how many war there would been then?
Obviously I have annoyed some of you, but hey...I can live with that

Nah, you haven't annoyed anyone. I had a problem with the stated reasons for being in Iraq before we ever went. It wasn't a WMD issue with Mr. Bush, it was removing a regime. I did not approve of military action for that reason. However, once we committed, I'm with em all the way. I was also not impressed when he took the "No assination of Foreign Government figures" out of law.
In my honest opinion, I think the Bushes decided that baby Bush needed to finish a job papa Bush never completed. But that's just my opinion.
Now Afganistan, Terrorists,....hell yeah, let's whup the shit out of them all.
